Høyhus Grønland

By thinking in a long-term perspective, the project seeks to be a part of the new high rise development in downtown Oslo. Whether we like it or not, this development is not able to be avoided for the growth of the city.

The building maintains the important path along Akerselva and connects the two street levels together through the building. At the same time, it brings the highly-used entrance to the Grønland Metro station into the project. In the small and narrow footprint of the building, cores have been made minimal. To save space the fire stairs are made to be a part of the regular circulation in the building.
